UPDATE: I want to recognize and thank Nancy Hunt and Kimberley McMann for running clean campaigns and for their hard work. I want to congratulate Julie Kusiek for receiving the most votes.

Julie promised at the first EPSB board meeting she would have a vote to affirm the EPSB is still opposed to the draft curriculum. I look forward to seeing the motion and the results of the vote on this at the next board meeting!

I am proud of my campaign for running a clean campaign. At each door when I was asked about my opponents, I replied and spoke highly of my opponents and complimented each of their achievements and their intelligence and character.

I worked hard to speak with voters, and had many more sign requests than we could have imagined.

I am grateful for the many kind people I met during the campaign and for the support I received and the friendships I made as well. I believe the EPSB is a great school board and I am confident this board will support our students well.
